The "Prairie Hawk at Spirit Gulch" from Touchstone Homes, designed by TKP (The Keating Partnership, PC) is a 5476 sq. ft. Craftsman style ranch with a walkout lower level. The "Prairie Hawk" showcases Craftsman style with Rustic Mountain detailing. The exterior is sensitive to the surrounding prairie, using natural materials, broad overhangs, and soft rolling roof forms to harmonize with its site. Stone columns and timber details define the entry to a shaded and intimate front porch. The open floor plan, focused on panoramic views, welcomes both family and guests to the warm and spacious interior of this home. Perched high on a bluff, this home takes full advantage of magnificent views of the front-range and grassy plains from its expansive deck.

The unique granite and slate Entry leads to a spacious vaulted Great Room with spectacular mountain views and an inviting stone fireplace. The distressed pine Kitchen cabinets, contrasted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, create a warm and functional work area, great for entertaining or simple family meals. The Dining Room with finely crafted pine and timber detailing opens onto a private alfresco porch creating wonderful dining possibilities. An inviting retreat, the Master suite combines a richly textural stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and magnificent views to escape the madding crowd.

A sweeping circular staircase with a finely crafted wrought iron railing leads to the lower walkout level featuring a home theatre system, entertainment area, and a dramatic full-service bar. The lower level also has two additional bedrooms and a Guest suite with private entry and stair.

The "Prairie Hawk's" rustic charm is conducive to fine entertaining and the casual lifestyle of the 21st century family. The home has several state of the art and custom features including both one-of-a-kind antique wood flooring from the 1830's and all natural quartzite stone floors, a master tub with built-in TV and stereo (featuring a floating remote control), and upgraded fiberglass windows with energy efficient Low-E glass.
